Wow, it’s pouring down rain outside! It will definitely make a little more changing to enjoy each and every precious moment of my life today, but I intend to find a way!
I am doing well, relaxing at home today. I have worked out (exercised) at the gym for 6 out of the last 7 days. The gym is closed today so I can take a much-needed rest. Since I am staying here in Japan until July 27th, my goal is to workout at least 20 days this month. In my experience I find that goal setting is an important tool for helping me to make my dreams come true.
For example: I intend to workout at Cospa Fitness Center for 20 days this month by July 26, 2008.
Whenever I have an idea about something or a dream I usually write them down in one of my notebooks. I have learned from my life experience that if I want to turn these dreams or ideas into reality I need a plan of action. First I write them in the form of a goal that is specific and measurable (a starting or ending point, sometimes both). Secondly, I look at them each day to focus my energy and measure my progress.
