I arrived safely in Los Angeles yesterday morning about 9:49am after about a nine-hour flight and I had an opportunity to relive August 27th all over again. It’s really quite interesting to start August 27th in Akatsuka, Japan and about 12 hours experience the morning of August 27th all over again in Los Angeles, California. Is this what they mean by déjà vu? The good news is I enjoyed both experiences!

I am currently relaxing in the Sakura First Class Lounge at Narita Airport enjoying a café latte and some hazelnut shortbread cookies before my flight to Los Angeles.  Earlier I enjoyed a light lunch of minestrone soup and a couple of slices of whole wheat bread with dates.  

I am departing on American Airlines Flight#170 for Los Angeles at 4:00pm today. I have not traveled to Los Angeles for a couple of months so I will enjoy sharing time with my family and friends in California.

I have finished my preparation for my departure for Los Angeles at 4:00pm this afternoon and it’s time to catch a few hours of sleep. I have reservation on the Narita Express at 10:33am, so I think I can sleep about 4 ½ hours.
