GOOD MORNING FROM DALLAS/FORTH WORTH AIRPORT!

Good morning,

I hope that all is well and you are all finding a way to enjoy each and every precious moment of your gift of while witnessing the transformation into a different season!

I am currently in Texas, the second largest state in the U.S. I am here in the Admirals Club Lounge waiting for my flight to Tokyo, which departs this morning on American Airlines about 10:10am. I arrived here at 5:20am after my flight from Los Angeles International Airport on September 27 at 12:30am.

It was a very challenging day for me. We departed Las Vegas about 4:30pm and arrived in Los Angeles about 8:45pm. I immediately started unpacking the car and packing my luggage for my return to Tokyo. After I finished packing I went shopping at the Target department store on La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles and picked up a few last minute omiyagae, filled up the rental car and headed to the airport. My day would become even more interesting after arriving at the airport!

At the airport check in desk at LAX I discovered that I had booked a different flight than the one I had intended to with a connecting flight and about a 17-hour layover. I was informed that it would take over $1500.00 dollars to change my ticket to the flight that I wanted. I focused my energy on finding a less expensive way to return home and remained calm. The person at the desk appreciated my patience and about 30 minutes later came up with a less expensive $294.00 solution/lesson. I learned that it is always important to focus my attention on booking my flight correctly the first time before purchasing my ticket. And of course always stay positive no matter what challenges life offers me!

I had a very enjoyable holiday in the U.S. with my family. Each and every precious moment of time we shared together seemed to go by so fast! I want to figure out how I can squeeze more out of each and every precious moment of time of time of my gift of life that I share with my family members and close friends each day.

That’s all for now! Please take care, stay positive and remember to enjoy each and every precious moment of your gift of life! Alvin

Thank you for stopping by to say hello! I appreciate your compliment! I am not always calm since I am a work in progress, however it’s something that I intend to be someday! My focus is learning to be a little more kind to people that I come in contact with each day. The interesting thing is I always receive more kindness than I extend to others. I decided to focus my energy on creating a positive outcome from this challenging situation instead of focusing my energy on being “angry” towards the person who was assisting me. Please take care, stay positive and have an enjoyable evening! Your friend Alvin
