Today we drove from Hiroshima City to Tottori-ken to visit Tottori-sakyu (Tottori Sand Dunes) in Honshu, Japan. After about a four-hour picturesque drive through Hiroshima and Tottori prefectures we reached Tottori-sakyu about 4:00pm. I had a very enjoyable, but very challenging time climbing up and down the sand dunes to reach the beach. However it was well worth the effort since the weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed a beautiful views from the tops of the sand dunes and later from the beach.
