I am doing well, even though the past week has been very challenging for my family and I. We celebrated the life of my uncle Malcolm who died May 17 at his funeral yesterday in Houston, Texas.

After the funeral we had a barbecue and enjoyable an impromptu family reunion! It was great to see my grandmother who celebrated her 99^th birthday in March and my other relatives who live in Texas once again. Even though it was during a challenging time for everyone, especially my grandmother who lost another son we managed to have an enjoyable time together! We were all reminded with the loss of my uncle just how precious each and every moment of our gift of life truly is and how important it is to celebrate our lives and the lives of the people we care about while we are still here!
