GOOD AFTERNOON FROM THE JAL SAKURA LOUNGE AT NARITA AIRPORT!

Good afternoon from the Japan Airlines Sakura First Class Lounge at Narita Airport!

I am currently enjoying a café latte and deciding whether to enjoy the shrimp or chicken for lunch. I have about two hours before I depart for Los Angeles so I have some time to relax and enjoy the comforts of this lounge. I am on my way to the United States of America once again for a short visit!  I left home about 9:01am this morning and took the 9:06am train (Tobu Tojo Line) to Ikebukuro. From there I took the Narita Express at 9:31pm and arrived at Narita Airport about 11:00am.

I will be in the United States from May 20 to May 26 and I plan to return to Tokyo around May 27! I will stay overnight in Los Angeles and then take a flight to Houston to visit my relatives there and attend my uncle’s funeral. I also need to find some time to fly to the San Francisco Bay Area and stop by my place in San José before I return to Tokyo!

On Monday I learned that one of my uncles had passed away on Sunday May 18 about 3:00am in Houston, Texas. Ironically a few hours before we received the news of his death my wife and I were just talking about him. I shared stories about some of my experiences with him and the incredible stories he use to share with us while we were growing up. I talked about how intelligent he was and how it would be great if we had a opportunity to visited Houston this summer and enjoy another conversation with him.

This experience reminds me just how precious each moment of life truly is! It reminds me that life has a beginning and an end, that my life has a beginning and an end. More importantly, I am reminded to live as much as I can in each and every precious moment of my gift of life while I can! I understand that my life here on earth has a time limit, but there is no limit on how much life I can squeeze out of each and every precious moment that I am here. I have also learned that there is no limit on showing the people that I care about how much I love, care and appreciate them while we are still alive!

Please take care, stay positive and have a great day or an enjoyable evening depending on where you are! And remember to that life is a very precious gift to be enjoyed one precious moment at a time!
