The weather is very warm and beautiful outside today! Of course every day that I wake up and can take another breath is a beautiful day for me!

I teach conversation English with an emphasis on using language in a more positive way. I just finished replaying to an email from my friend and I was talking about my teaching schedule and how my overall daily schedule is filling up! I thought that I would share a portion of that email with everyone!

My schedule is becoming more and more active each day and time is becoming more precious to me! Recently, I found myself running out of time and often in a hurry to get somewhere! I found myself getting caught up in the fast pace of living life in Tokyo and displaying some of the behavior that some people display who live in densely populated places.

I reminded myself about how precious each moment of life is and the need to slow down and enjoy them. I remembered an ancient Chinese proverb I read which stated, “If happiness is your destiny, you need not be in a hurry.” Now when I go out I focus my energy on slowing down and enjoying each and every precious moment of my gift life! Reaching the goals that I set for my life is very important to me, but I also understand that the journey to reach those goals may be the most important part of my life!
