I hope that all is well and you are finding a way to enjoy each and every precious moment of your gift of life!
I am sitting here in Los Angeles falling asleep as I writing this post before I get some rest. I arrived safely at LAX from Chicago about 11:20pm after a one hour and thirty minute delay at Chicago O’Hare Airport. Fortunately, I received an upgrade on my flight so I traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles in First Class. I had plenty of legroom, enjoyed a delicious meal and watched a touching movie called “The Express.”
“Truman Capote once wrote that all true stories end in death.” This was a true story about the life of former outstanding Syracuse University football player Ernie Davis and the challenges he faced as an African American collegiate athlete during the “Jim Crow” period in the United States. However, he would face an even larger challenge at a very young age when he was diagnosed with leukemia.
It’s time for me to get a couple of hours of rest before I depart for San Francisco airport tomorrow morning at 7:15am.
Please take care, stay positive and have a great day!
