HELLO FROM SHIMO-AKATSUKA, ITABASHI-KU, TOKYO!

Good morning from Itabashi-ku. It was another beautiful day for me yesterday since I woke up and could take another breath!

I had a very active day, yesterday. Last evening my wife and had dinner with our friends in Ikebukuro who live in Yokohama. Before that I worked out at Cospa Fitness Center. In the morning I gave a conversation lesson to one of my new students. Now I am sitting at the keyboard of my laptop pc thinking about my schedule for the next two weeks.

It is really amazing how fast time seems to go by at times. It seems like I just returned here to Tokyo a couple of weeks ago when reality it was more like five weeks ago (September 18). Since my plan was to stay in Tokyo about two months and return to California on November 16 I have about two weeks left before I depart.

There were so many things that I had thought about doing and friends that I wanted to meet while I was here in Tokyo. The first couple of weeks here in Tokyo I stayed in the house adjusting to jet lag and working out at the fitness center. I kept thinking over and over about the things that I wanted to do without really taking any action while more time passed.

Since I look at everything that happens in my life as a learning experience I have to ask myself, what can I learn from this experience? First of all time moves on whether I take any action or not. Secondly, I cannot accomplish anything without making a plan and taking action. Finally, I have to take what I have learned from this experience and make a plan for my next two weeks here in Tokyo.

Please take care, stay positive, have a great day and an enjoyable rest of the weekend!
