Good afternoon from the Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa in Kanagawa, Japan!  My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to another stay in Hakone. This is our third visit to the Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa in Kanagawa and our second visit this year.

It is an incredibly beautiful hotel designed like a ski lodge, located in an extraordinarily picturesque area of Japan. It is one of our favorite places to relax, catch our breath and experience life one precious moment at a time! It is a great place to escape the fast pace of living in the greater Tokyo area.

I just returned to my room after relaxing at the Izumi Spa & Onsen for about 50 minutes. There was only one other person in the onsen when I arrived and he left after a few minutes. So I basically had the onsen all to myself and I enjoyed a very peaceful moment.

Now it’s time to take a nap for about an hour or so. Then my wife and I will head down to the “Living Room Lounge” which has an open fire pit which offers complimentary Champaign, red an white wine, beer and soft drinks from 16:00-19:00 and for all the guests at the hotel. We can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea or soft drinks from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
