Good morning from San Jose, California (San Francisco Bay Area)! I hope that all is well and you are finding a way to enjoy each and every precious moment of your lives! It is 3:48am here in San Jose and I am still awake!
I am currently at my other home taking care of a few things. Or shall I say I am at my apartment. It reminds me of a few lines from one of my favorite songs, “A House Is Not A Home.” It was a song made famous by the late artist: Luther Vandross, on his album: “Never Too Much, Best Of Luther Vandross…The Best Of Love”
“A chair is still a chair
Even when there’s no one sitting there
But a chair is not a house
and a house is not a home
When there’s no one there to hold you tight,
And no one there you can kiss good night.
A room is still a room”
But that’s another story! In some ways it is good to have a few moments alone to catch my breath and reflect upon my life. It is also a good opportunity to develop a plan for working through some of the challenges in my life.
Earlier in the evening I had dinner at Japanese restaurant with one of my good friends Russ who lives in the East Bay in Hayward, California. Russ is a very talented artist who captures Jazz music on canvass. He has a very special talent for bringing music to life on canvass! When you have a chance take a look at his page:
