Good morning from Los Angeles, California once again! It is about 1:57am and I just finished doing some packing in preparation for my journey back to Tokyo. I will depart Los Angeles for Tokyo in about 8 ½ hours from now. I will take a direct flight (AA#169), which departs Los Angeles International Airport at 12:35pm and will arrive at Narita Airport in Chiba on May 7 at approximately 4:10pm.

For the past two and a half years I have been living between Tokyo and California! I am in Tokyo over 300 days each year. Since I do not have a chance to see my family as often as I did in the past every moment that we share together seems even more precious to me! I want to enjoy every precious moment that I can from these visits and squeeze as much enjoyment as possible from each moment that we are together.

I believe that every precious moment that I am alive is a gift, especially when collectively those precious moments add up to another day of life. And the gift is even greater when I have a chance to share the gift of another day of life with my family! These past few days have reinforced to me how important and valuable my family is to me!
