Good morning from San Jose, California (March 26, about 2:18am) I am currently in California for two days. I departed Tokyo on Tuesday March 25^th at 4:05pm in the afternoon after experiencing several train delays on the Tobu Tojo Line and missing my first Narita Express Train from Ikebukuro at 10:33am.  It was a little challenging for me at first carrying four bags but I managed to work through things and take the next train from Shinjuku at 11:40am.

I arrived safely at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 9:40 am on March 25^th. It feels like I traveled back in time and had a chance to live March 25^th all over again! Upon arriving in LA I met my Mom and we had an enjoyable lunch together. Then, I took a connecting flight to San Jose, California. I will stay in San Jose from March 25^th to March 27^th.

Next, I will depart San Jose on March 27 for Los Angeles and meet my Mom at the LAX. We will take a flight that connects through Dallas, Texas, with our final destination Houston, Texas. In Houston we will celebrate my grandmother’s 98^th birthday!
